Thyra, FNP-BC, also known as Ty, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with 27 years of experience in women’s health and 7 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner. She specializes in providing personalized, patient- and family-centered care, with a particular focus on supporting women through perimenopause and menopause. Born and raised in Panama, Ty is a native Spanish speaker who is passionate about women’s health education and community well-being.

Thyra pursued her education at Louisiana State University, Pace University, and Walden University, building a strong foundation in nursing and women’s healthcare.

Thyra has 27 years of experience in women’s health, including 7 years practicing as a Nurse Practitioner. Her extensive clinical background allows her to address women’s changing healthcare needs throughout different stages of life.

Thyra specializes in women’s health, particularly perimenopause and menopause care. She focuses on helping women understand hormonal changes, manage symptoms, and make informed decisions about their health through personalized education and supportive care.

Thyra is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC). She is also pursuing a Menopause Coaching Specialist Certification to further expand her knowledge and skills in supporting women during perimenopause and menopause.

Thyra is a member of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN). Her professional affiliations also include the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).

Thyra is fluent in Spanish and English. As a native Spanish speaker born and raised in Panama, she can communicate comfortably with patients from diverse backgrounds.
